The 50th-anniversary event brought together youth and community members to celebrate half a century of the organization’s history, activities, and impact. During the celebration, we reflected on the origins of KLJS, shared success stories, honored long-standing volunteers, and showcased youth-led initiatives that continue to strengthen Lithuanian identity in the diaspora. It was a warm and inspiring opportunity to look back on the past and confidently look toward the next 50 years.

Yearly event

This is a yearly gathering of the organization’s members. It serves as a space to review key achievements from the past year, approve activity reports, introduce new initiatives, hold board elections, and make strategic decisions.

The AGM offers an open forum for young people to exchange ideas, ask questions, and shape the organization’s direction for the year ahead. Beyond its formal purpose, it is also a chance to strengthen the community, connect with other members, and get involved in collective efforts. All are welcome! 

The organization hosts a variety of fun and engaging events: sports tournaments, social gatherings, cultural activities, leadership workshops, and other community initiatives. These are great opportunities to meet other young people, build friendships, get involved, and experience what it means to be part of the KLJS community.
